I would sure like to hear more. Tell us which finishing system you used, final weight, engine, fuel quantity, etc, etc. I want to live vicariously through you and keep this great moment alive a little longer.

20 rolls 3M fine line tape. Tons of blue tape and truck loads of brown paper. Note if a builder is going the accent route with paint. I have learned a lot of good info and tips on using fine line tape. If interested, I will write a post.

It is hard to believe it took 9 years
I worked on it every wed and every week end. In 9 years I probably only missed 3 or 4 week ends.
The plane hass been at a private air park for the last 5 years. i have had the benefit of 2 good IA's
and Stearman restorers.

Thanks for posting that info. Awesome job. It would be nice to see your "Fine Line tape tricks". I am also interested in the header tank. I know a couple of guys have done that and I think it is a neat and viable mod. I would be interested in more info on that. Pictures? I know I am asking for your time (takes time to post all this) and I appreciate your taking the time to help me and others with the info. I sure hope to see it at a fly-in someday.
