I'm now the proud owner of a CB-1 project started by Aldo Lucchesi in Chicago, Ill. I bought it from Jim Lucchesi, his son, in Colorado.....did the road trip with truck and trailer thing back to Missouri. Jim's a trucker and thanks to him the road back..... after we spent most of the day loading and waterproofing ......was uneventful. Aldo kept all receipts and the earliest I've found so far was 1989.....not thru all of them yet. Aldo's plane has been under construction a long time and is very well crafted and obviously lovingly thought thru. I'll finish the plane over the next year or so and will see you all at the next gathering of Hatz whether I'm done or not. I've suddenly got a ton of questions.....imagine that! When I can ask them intelligently I will.
Later everybody,
Gaylon

Re: Hatz CB-1 project
Welcome aboard, Gaylon! It's nice to hear that a project has been saved and will get completed. It'll be fun to hear of your progress, post some photos when you have a chance.
